Adam Morey

Working across the mediums of drawing, painting and sculpture, Adam Morey’s work examines interests in perceptual thresholds in a continual state of inauguration. Morey’s studio practice is not only driven by the work that art does (establishing its presence and existence) but also the work of the viewer (observing it). Morey’s work revels in (and on) the edges of experience: those not-quite- there areas that straddle perceptive thresholds which, manifests these hushed conversations between the visible and the invisible within a material lexicon of transparency, translucency, and opacity.
